You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for voting. Each ballot must be at least 90% complete (no more than seven blank fields) in order to be considered valid. Businesses not based in Mississippi (national chains) will not be counted. Ballots with duplicate votes in more than five categories will be disqualified. The results of the survey will be published in our July/August issue.
Ten names will be randomly drawn from online and ballot entries, and each winner will receive a three-year subscription to Mississippi Magazine and a set of three Patty Roper Cookbooks including, Easy Does It Entertaining, At the Table, and Easy Hospitality, a $94 value. Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
Mississippi Magazine reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Employees of Mississippi Magazine are not eligible for drawing.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to Mississippi Magazine the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the survey.
